Over a 40-year screen career, the instantly recognizable Mr. Sands displayed great versatility onscreen. He died while hiking in the San Gabriel Mountains.
Wilkinson, a versatile actor who also starred in “Shakespeare in Love” and “Batman Begins,” won acclaim through decades of work in television and film and onstage.
